The London Borough of Enfield will be implementing Consilium’s TotalMobile™ solution, which works across all major platforms (iPhone, BlackBerry etc), for 450 mobile workers as part of its New Ways of Working Strategy, in hopes that it will improve productivity and efficiency and enable the council to provide better services.
It plans to start with the environmental health department in December and gradually move to various other departments, including social care, housing and parks.
According to Enfield’s Head of IT Technical Design, Mike Weston: “We are looking forward to working with Consillium to deliver against the Council’s New Ways of Working Strategy and assist service areas in achieving their savings targets by making staff more productive, cutting travelling time and removing duplicate data entry.”
