IT and business services provider Agilisys has reported growth of 31.8%, from GBP 93 million in 2011 to GBP 122.6 million in the financial year to March 31st 2012, ensuring that “it remains a leading supplier in the local government market”, according to Tech Market View.
Tech Market View also said that if the figures had been released earlier, Agilisys, which recently won contracts with Tower Hamlets and Bristol councils, would have featured in the top 60 of its UK SITS rankings.
“While we see challenges in the economic environment as government austerity measures and reforms kick in, we also see opportunities in new and existing markets for our services,” said Agilisys in the report.
Agilisys’ local government SITS turnover in FY12 is between GBP 105 million and GBP 110 million; it stands in fifth place in Tech Market Reviews’ ranking of UK local government SITS suppliers, behind Capita, BT, Serco and Mouchel.
