The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has announced that it will be launching several digital services to enable people to make informed decisions about care, such as email alerts and a widget that shows inspection reports and which social care services meet national standards and that has already been used by hundreds of organisations.
According to CQC chair Dame Jo Williams: “These new digital services are an important step in making it as easy as possible for people to find the information they want. They bring valuable CQC information about the quality of services to a wider audience, helping individuals make informed choices about care.”
