Guardian holds online discussion on ‘digital by default’ policy making

The Public Leaders Network on the Guardian website held a live discussion where experts ‘explored how digital plans will benefit civil service policy making and the public’.

According to Sheridan, “Digital will develop new solutions to old problems: a small example is how we are revising legislation for – working with editors from inside government and also outside, in a collaborative way.” Other topics discussed included the importance of promoting inclusivity and of civil servants interacting with the public in new ways.
