HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has decided to promote mobile working and will invest in a selection of iPads, MacBooks and other electronic devices.

HMRC will procure a range of devices across different brands in preparation for the Government’s updated rules of data security which will include a wider selection of vendors. In the past government departments including HMRC have depended heavily on Microsoft to provide electronic devices. This new approach to electronics comes as a part of the government’s new end-user device strategy.
