Starting February 25th, HM Revenue and Customs(HMRC) will be offering a week-long Twitter Q&A session to help small to medium sized enterprises with tax advice, where anyone can ask questions using the hashtag ‘biztaxhelp’.
According to a spokesperson, HMRC will consider creating a dedicated tax help Twitter account if this session goes off well and they find that there is an appetite for such online help.
Treasury minister David Gauke said that “this interactive week will offer support and help to new and growing businesses in an innovative way.”
