Socitm, the society for public sector ICT professionals, wants feedback to create Digital Insights, a resource “for local public service organisations looking to ‘go digital’ as a means of improving citizen engagement and service delivery.” Based on this feedback, Socitm and the Local CIO Council will undertake development prior to a formal launch at the Socitm Spring conference in London on April 24th.
An early version of Digital Insights is currently available, developed in collaboration with the Local Public Services CIO Council, with input from the Local Government Delivery Council, DCLG, Government Digital Service and others.
It explains the advantages of digital for local public services, such as its potential to help managers meet a growing demand for digital interaction.
