The Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospital NHS Trust is now using Symantec’s Mobile Management System (MSM) which allows its 4,500 medical staff to have access to patient and clinical data while on the move, as well as access to email and calendars, thereby improving productivity.

According to James Norman, Director of Information Management & Technology at the Trust: “Our MDM strategy means, when a patient moves between wards the data goes with them letting the medical staff work more efficiently, freeing up more time for consultative advice.”

The Trust has already been using Symantec’s data loss prevention and endpoint security solution.
