8th National Digital Conference to discuss role of technology in government and business

Experts discuss Government Digital Strategy, lessons for local councils at Digital Leaders event

“ND13: Going Digital will focus on how to co-design, fund and promote digital skills, enterprise and citizen centric services”

The Digital Leaders Programme will be holding its latest event on June 11th and 12th and the Congress Centre in London titled ‘8th National Digital Conference, ND13: Going Digital‘ which will bring together over 250 delegates from the government, NGO and business sectors to talk about technology, digital skills and digital enterprise in their fields.

According to the event website, “ND13: Going Digital will focus on practical delivery, exploring how to co-design, fund and promote digital skills, enterprise and citizen centric services to make the UK a competitive digital nation. There will be an interactive format this year with delegates seated cabaret style to encourage debate, group discussion and a two-way dialogue and feedback between the speakers and delegates.”

Among the delegates expected to participate are UK Digital Champion Baroness Martha Lane Fox of Soho and Tom Loosemore, Deputy Director at the Government Digital Service.

There will also be a ‘Digital Leaders Dinner and Awards’ on the evening of the first day “to celebrate the digital sector’s achievements over the past year.”
