Mastek, an IT solutions provider, has announced that is has been accepted as a supplier for the Government Procurement Services (GPS) G-Cloud III framework. Prahlad Koti, Head of Government and Health at Mastek UK,said: “We are delighted to be selected for the third release of G-Cloud. Our experience in being part of the cloud delivery model has proved to be an exciting time and we are already starting to win contracts with government bodies through it. As the framework continues to grow into its third iteration, it will continue to make it easier for us to do business with the public sector. We have seen many organisations already realise the benefits of cloud services, and with the UK Government encouraging competition among suppliers through the purchase of cloud-based IT, I am sure that we will witness more public bodies making IT purchasing decisions that enable a more straightforward procurement process.”
