Digital Leaders Wales, the newest regional branch of the Digital Leaders programme, will launch with an inaugural event in Cardiff on Tuesday 3rd February from 4-6pm.
The salon-style discussion will be free to attend and focus on the future of digital skills in Wales. The discussion will be led by Oliver Morley, CEO of the DVLA, and Matt Jukes, head of digital transformation at ONS. Networking drinks will follow.
The Digital Leaders Wales programme, sponsored by Skyscape Cloud Services, is just the latest regional division of Digital Leaders, an independent organisation connecting digital stakeholders through salons, webinars and local networking events across the UK.
Simon Hansford, CEO of Skyscape Cloud Services, said: “The [Digital Leaders Wales] programme will encourage innovators in the region to share their experiences, advice and best practices – helping to allay any undue fears regarding transformative new technologies, such as cloud computing – while providing a platform through which digital talent and innovation can be fostered.”
Robin Knowles, Digital Leaders founder, added: “The launch of Digital Leaders Wales is a particular pleasure for me, knowing how seriously the Welsh government has taken the implementation of its Digital Wales Strategy. I am looking forward to participating in events across the sectors, topics and geography of Wales in the coming years.”
