Agilisys signs deal with Great Yarmouth Council to deliver online customer portal

Great Yarmouth Borough Council has become the most recent authority to choose the Agilisys Digital platform to help improve its customers’ online experience and save money.

In a competitive process, the council has selected Agilisys’ Digital for Districts offering, with its modules customised for the specific needs of district councils, and will purchase the platform through the Government’s G-Cloud framework.

The implementation will also include integration with Agilisys Engage personalisation software, which is currently being used by local authorities across the UK to anonymously profile more than 5m digital customer journeys each month. By increasing understanding of visitors’ needs as they use the website, and then serving up the most relevant content based on this knowledge, users of the Great Yarmouth Council website will enjoy an improved online experience – leading to increased use of this cost-effective channel.

The Agilisys Digital Platform will provide citizens with a self-service capability and will be rolled out incrementally, beginning with MyAccount, Environmental Booking and a Single Sign On to a range of digital services, including the new Residents Advantage Card Scheme.
