Socitm announces a partnership with consultancy group Boilerhouse to improve its research, promotion and engagement of published resources about digital local services.
To begin, Boilerhouse will focus upon improving the annual Better cconnected survey, Socitm’s research service that provides analysis of customer experiences in the use of local public sector digital services.
Boilerhouse will develop a new digital platform, then gather, analyse, distribute and promote the findings and their analysis.
The Boilerhouse platform will promote Socitm’s other research on website performance, channel shift and trends in adopting digital services.
“We are delighted with the partnership we have struck with Boilerhouse, a long-standing collaborator in many of Socitm’s research and publishing projects in the digital area,” said Socitm managing director Adrian Hancock.
Martin Greenwood, editor of Better connected added that the partnership will “enable development of Better connected to a new level of sophistication and will bring it to a much wider range of audiences.”
Boilerhouse client services director Vicky Sargent commented, “the research methodologies that underpin Better connected are robust and respected, with many authorities using the best practice identified in the report as the basis for improvement.
“We now have the opportunity to get more of this work to a wider, more senior audience, communicating the opportunities of digital way beyond those who are already digital specialists.”
