The Land Registry is set to activate its e-Despatch online service for customers and enhance the portal PDF download area for a July 13th launch of increased online services.
The department has said it has been sending application results to customers with online portal accounts digitally for “some time“.
But from the 13th July the Land Registry will be adding the function to return more land registration application results in a digital format to customers through their portal accounts, even for applications initially sent by post.
For customers with a Land Registry portal account, almost all of the application results will be returned online, rather than post according to the government.
Only the first registration results and plans that are deemed “large” or “complex” will be processed by post.
The Land Registry is continuing to offer a postal response service to customers that do not have a portal account.
The department is recommending that those with portal accounts familiarise themselves with the planned portal enhancements and ensure that they have an RSS feed to receive notifications of their application results.
