Police chiefs host online discussion

Police chiefs at Cheshire Constabulary took part in a web chat with the public on Thursday 13th August as part of their ‘We’re here’ public service commitments.

Chief constable Simon Byrne and police and crime commissioner John Dwyer participated in the web chat, which aimed to give residents the opportunity to offer their feedback on their commitments so far and ask any questions they might have about policing in the county.

The event took place between 6.30pm and 8pm and residents submitted their questions via a live chat form.

People were also able to get involved in the chat by posting their enquiries on Twitter, using the hashtag #PolicingQA.
