On 18 January 2017, Agilisys is hosting a free webinar for local government revenue teams, in conjunction with Enfield Council who will share their experience of adopting an innovative income generation and debt collection solution.
Collecting debt on time is a priority for all revenue teams. However, year on year budget challenges mean that councils have little capacity to chase down outstanding arrears.
Meanwhile councils are facing a 40% decrease in their funding and are looking at the income as well as the expenditure side of the balance sheet in order to protect valuable frontline services.
Find out how leading local authority Enfield Council doubled its arrears collection in less than three years, and is now ranked in the top ten performing boroughs for tax collection thanks to its innovative partnership with Agilisys.
Hear from Geoff Waterton, Head of Collection at Enfield Council, who will outline the steps he took to turn around the council’s arrears situation.
Joined by Ian Biggadike, Director of Agilisys Revenue Collection, participants will be taken through Enfield’s revenue collection journey and understand how a unique partnership with Agilisys allowed the council to target historic debt, which had been previously considered un-collectable.
