techUK to consult digital leaders in government Agencies

techUK is engaging with Government Agencies to explore how the tech industry can work with public services to deliver digital transformation.

This consultation will gather the views of Government to inform how techUK can build on its successful market engagement activity to work more closely with Government Agencies.

Throughout all of the engagement, techUK will follow the principles of its Three Point Plan to Transform Public Services:

1. Better engagement – support civil servants to have a comprehensive understanding of how tech can enable the delivery of excellent public services

2. Better information – allow Government to pick and choose suppliers more effectively and inform the market of current and future tech requirements

3. More innovation – give civil servants the opportunity to experiment and explore solutions in a risk-free environment.

Rob Driver, Head of Public Sector at techUK commented: “The objective of this survey is to support techUK to identify the ‘Key Asks’ from across the Public Sector. Government Agencies are often a hotbed of innovation where the adoption of tech can have a real and tangible positive impact on citizens. If you are a tech or digital leader in a Government Agency I would urge you to complete the techUK Innovation in Government Agencies Survey to support the ongoing collaborative work between the tech industry and the Public Sector to improve citizen outcomes.”
